The circular economy in the EU is one step closer again. Together with the European consortium, we acquired the HOOP project. It is a follow-up project to the Waste Up! project. Its goal is to find a way to implement new business models in the processing of biowaste in large urban agglomerations. For NAFIGATE, the partner city is Bergen in Norway.

Sand is the most used raw material after water. It is used everywhere – to build houses, roads, to produce glass or in cosmetics. A UN report warns of growing environmental problems caused by sand extraction and calls for an international framework for its use.
