The first pilot project to educate secondary school pupils about the circular economy was initiated and supported by the Moravian-Silesian Region

We are very pleased that we could take on the implementation of this project. The circular economy is a basic principle of all international projects we are working on and thus creating the future. The education of children is absolutely key to achieving the goals of the circular economy. That is why we were very pleased with the interest of the Moravian-Silesian Region and its support for the creation of this pilot project. To implement it, we have set up a team of experts from the Czech Republic who have created a basic information base for education. For the training itself, we used experienced lecturers who have a background in the circular economy and new technologies.

In total, at least 100 secondary school students from the Moravian-Silesian region will participate in the pilot project. Based on their feedback, we will create the final form of the teaching module for further use.

The project also focuses on quantifying the change in pupils’ attitudes towards the circular economy specifically due to the impact of education. As this is our main objective in the pilot project.

During January 2022, we will present you with the most important results of the pilot project.
