Negotiators from the EU Member States and the European Parliament have agreed on a provisional form of the single-use plastics ban


Only a few days before the Christmas holidays the European Union significantly approached the reduction of plastic waste. Negotiators from the EU Member States and the European Parliament have agreed on a provisional form of the single-use plastics ban. In the proposal banning single-use plastics straws, crockery, ear sticks and some other products are only slight changes. The accepted preliminary agreement has to be approved by the ambassadors of the countries of the EU before it goes to MEPs.
